Orchid-in-the-Wild Challenge!
Now that The Orchid Affair is out in the world, I’d like to introduce the Orchid-in-the-Wild Challenge. The goal? To get pictures of Orchid from all fifty states (extra bonus points for foreign countries!).
You can take the picture in the bookstore, in your local library, cunningly arranged in your home, balanced on top of an orchid… wherever and however you like. Just email it to me with the location in which it was taken. The first picture I receive from each state will be included in the master Orchid-in-the-Wild map. (I’ll keep you posted on which states I’m still missing.)
Once I have Orchid pictures from all fifty states, I’ll pick three people at random from among all the entrants to receive a Pink Carnation mug.
Happy Orchid hunting!
Awesome challenge. I’m all over it!
OK, I just sent a picture from San Jose, CA. (I hope!) I have a book shelf with all of my Pinks, along with a few other favored authors (Georgette Heyer, Rhys Bowen, & Kerry Greenwood). They seem to get along well together in “the Wild”.
Luckily, I am going to Cambridge (UK) today… wonder if it’s here yet!
The Orchid had a chilly adventure in Yellowstone yesterday!
Sending a picture from sunny Mexico 🙂
How about an Orchid’s trip from Boise to Chicago (with a stop in Denver).
GO BEARS!
Bears, oh no, it’s Packer’s time!
Go Packers!
Orchid from NY coming at ya!

Hi Lauren,
I was just wondering when the competition closes and if you have Australia yet? I pre-ordered my copy of Amazon but I have yet to receive it. In the mean time I am re-reading the series because I realised it has bee two years since I have read most of them!
