Two Wars– and a Book Give Away!

Head over to Goodreads for a chance to win one of 100 shiny new advance review copies of my upcoming book, Two Wars and a Wedding!

For those of you who read Band of Sisters, this book is a sort of prequel: the tumultuous youth of the woman who would eventually become the founder of the Smith College Relief Unit.

For those of you who haven’t, don’t worry!  This takes place twenty years before Band of Sisters and can be read entirely by itself.

Over the course of writing Two Wars and a Wedding, I called it the 1890s book, the Greece book, the Cuba book, and Smith II: the Resmithening, because it covers all of those topics, spanning from the American School in Athens in the 1890s to the Greco-Turkish War to the jungles of Cuba with Clara Barton and her Red Cross nurses and Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders.  There are so many strange true stories folded into this book, into the life of a heroine who just took over the story as soon as I started typing.

I can’t wait to share it with you!
