Pink Carnation Read Along: A Quick Update

Like the Pink series itself, the Read Along wasn’t exactly… planned.  It just kind of happened.  And like the Pink series, that means that about midway through, I had to stop and ask myself where it was going, and actually consider the prospect of, um, planning.

So, here’s the sort of plan going forward:

— Due to the holidays (and by holidays, I’m thinking everything from Thanksgiving on), November’s book, The Garden Intrigue, is going to be a little earlier in the month than usual.  Well, okay, a lot earlier.  Which then leaves everyone free to deal with pureeing pumpkins and whatever else they need to do for the rest of November.

I hope you can join me and super special guest host Lynda Loigman on Tuesday, November 9, 8pm ET as we discuss masks, masques, Americans in Paris, poets in floppy sleeves, and all things Garden Intrigue.  (The registration link isn’t up yet, but will be soon.)

— December is going to be Ivy & Intrigue!  There may or may not be a Zoom for this one.  But this should be a short, fun holiday read.  More on that as I figure it out (and fix the link of my webpage).

— Then we’ll pick back up again with the regularly scheduled Read Along with The Passion of the Purple Plumeria (hi, Miss Gwen!) in late January, The Mark of the Midnight Manzanilla in February (Sally WOULD bag Valentine’s Day), and the grand finale, The Lure of the Moonflower, in March.

This is a work in progress, so, as always, any thoughts or suggestions are totally welcome– and I’ll see you on the Zoom screen on November 9th!
