Weekly Reading Round-Up

Happy Friday, all!

This will be a very short post this week, because most of my reading was for a top secret project I can’t tell you about yet.  (If anything comes of it, I promise, you’ll hear about it!).

I did, however, take a break from background reading for the Book That Shall Not Yet Be Disclosed to stay up far too late reading Riley Sager’s Survive the Night in one go.  This always seems to happen to me with Riley Sager books.  I mean to read just a few chapters and then wind up in a desperate race against exhaustion as I read on just a little bit more… and a little bit more… and, oh, okay, I might as well stay up and finish the book.

Now I’m trying to decide what to read next: Tia Williams’s Seven Days in June or Mia P. Manansala’s Arsenic and Adobo?  Or go with an old Charlotte MacLeod comfort read as a palette cleanser?

What have you been reading this week?

OMG, just checked, my copy of Survive the Night has ARRIVED IN MADISON! I REPEAT ARRIVED IN MADISON! Now here’s hoping it’s delivered tomorrow, because that is SO what I’ll be reading. In fact read Final Girls by Riley Sager this past week, it had it’s moments, but I adored Home Before Dark and The Last Time I Lied more. So depending on mail delivery, it’s either Riley Sager or Rules for Vanishing which one of my friends said I HAD TO READ!

Reading The Black Echo by Michael Connelly, first in the Harry Bosch mystery/contemporary crime series. Gripping so far!
