Virtual Events!

As we creep towards spring, I have an exciting line-up of virtual events to help up brush away the pandemic winter blues!

Here’s a list of what’s going on so far….

January 27th, 8pm: celebrating Serena Burdick‘s new book, Meet Me in Havana, at Anderson’s Bookshop.

Free and open to the public.  You can register here.

February 24th, 8pm: the first installment of the Pink Carnation Read Along featuring special guest co-host Sarah MacLean!  Dust off your copy of The Secret History of the Pink Carnation and join us as we chat about flowery spies, tropes of the genre, and all things Pink.

Free and open to the public.  Registration link coming very, very soon.  (Stay tuned for announcements of future guest co-hosts!  Otherwise known as “Lauren makes her friends talk Pink with her once a month.”)  If I can figure out how to do it, I’ll also livestream this on my author Facebook page.

March 1st, 8pm: Women’s History Month BAND OF SISTERS Launch Day Eve Celebration with Marie Benedict, Vanessa Riley, and Kristin Harmel, and super moderator Carol Fitzgerald!  Join us for our favorite unsung historical women, history bingo, prizes, give away, and more.

I’m so thrilled that instead of only being able to make it to a handful of bookshops for launch, this launch party can be made available to everyone everywhere.  This is THE event for Band of Sisters, so I so hope you can join us!

This one is a ticketed event.  The price of the ticket?  Ordering a copy of Band of Sisters from one of the participating bookstores.  (If you’ve already pre-ordered from any of those stores, that purchase counts as your ticket.)  Everyone who pre-orders from one of the five stores below will receive an event link.

— Register via FoxTale Book Shoppe

— Register via Shakespeare & Co

— Register via Hub City

— Register via Titcomb’s

— Register via Warwick’s

March 4th, 8pm EST (7pm CST): a special reunion event with Tasha Alexander and Deanna Raybourn at Murder by the Book.  As some of you may know, Deanna and Tasha and I used to tour together ALL the time.  (Some of my best book tour mishap stories are with these gals.)  But then our publishing schedules diverged.  This year is the first time since something like 2011 that we all have books out at the same time.  And we couldn’t be more excited!  (Things may get a little silly.  Just warning you.)

This is a ticketed event.  The price of the ticket?  Buying any one of our new releases.  (So if you’ve already bought your copy of Band of Sisters for the big Women’s History Month Launch Day Eve event, now’s your chance to get Deanna’s An Unexpected Peril or Tasha’s The Dark Heart of Florence!)

You can register here.

March 6th, 4pm EST (2pm MST): Team W at the Poisoned Pen Bookstore talking Band of Sisters with brilliant book guru Barbara Peters.  Although we’re disappointed we can’t actually be in Arizona, my writing sisters Beatriz Williams and Karen White are joining me virtually at the legendary Scottsdale bookstore to talk World War I and everyday heroines– and we might just be persuaded to say a word or two about our current Team W book in progress if you really twist our arms.

Free and open to the public.  Registration link coming soon.  This event will also be livestreamed via the Poisoned Pen.

I so hope you can join me for any or all of these!  In this strange, strange year, I’m determined that this will me the Most Fun Virtual Book Tour Ever.  See you on Zoom!
