So, I have some bad news and some good news about Team W’s upcoming visit to Charleston.

The bad news– if you haven’t yet bought your ticket to the Charleston Author Series Luncheon on Thursday, January 16th– is that the luncheon has now officially sold out.

There are still tickets available for the Books, Bites, and Bubbles event at the Colleton County Historical Society in Walterboro at 4:00 that afternoon….

But we know that’s a ways away from Charleston, and, if you’re anything like me, you don’t like leaving your own neighborhood to travel an hour for a book event.   Also, it’s smack dab in the middle of the work day.

SO… the good news is that Team W is frantically working to set up an extra evening event in Charleston for anyone who was closed out from the luncheon (or, really, anyone who couldn’t attend the luncheon in the first place or is just bored on a Thursday evening).  Right now, we’re looking at doing an extra book talk on Thursday, January 16th, at 7:00 at Buxton Books.

UPDATED: It turns out that Team W can’t actually break the time space continuum– and that it won’t be possible to get from Walterboro back to Charleston in time.  We’re so disappointed that we can’t make that 7:00 event happen.  BUT, if you’d like a signed and personalized book, you can contact Blue Bicycle Books or Buxton Books and they’ll make sure to have us sign all the things for you at our events.

And you know we’ll be back to Charleston eventually!  We just can’t keep Karen away.

In the meantime, tickets are going fast for all the ticketed events!  If you were interested in attending the luncheon in McDonough, Georgia on January 14th; the luncheon in Augusta, Georgia on January 15th; the cocktails in Walterboro at 4:00 on January 16th; the Moveable Feast luncheon on Pawleys Island on January 17th; or the luncheon at the Wee Burn Country Club in Darien on January 28th, book those spots now!
