Website Reboot

That time has come again: the time for a rethink of the website.

I’m going to be overhauling the whole site this spring– which is where you come in!

What do you love about the website? What do you hate about it? Is there anything it’s missing? If there’s anything you think I should have– or should absolutely not have– in the new website, let me know!

This site is for you, so I want to make sure it’s just right. All ideas and opinions appreciated!

I absolutely love Weekly Reading Round-up. I get so many ideas for future reading. You should see my wish list on Amazon.

I also have wondered what ever happened to the partial story you published here several years ago. It was contemporary and the protagonist broke into her family’s old home. I’ve often wondered how it would end.

Thank you for the many hours of reading pleasure.

I love your news/blog. I enjoy seeing what you have to say about your books and research, and I love the weekly reading round-ups. I selfishly hope you keep the archives because I get so many good reading ideas from browsing through there!

It’s always hard for me to imagine how something could be “better” when it looks wonderful as is… so just to focus on things that I really like about the site: the “Categories” list along the side, the “Newest Books” and “Have Author, Will Travel” sections, and the feminine aesthetic overall. The weekly features are wonderful (If You Like, Weekly Reading Roundup, etc) but it would be fun to have more Casting Calls for your (or other) novels… really, any excuse to think about Gorgeous British Men. 🙂

Weekly Reading Round-up is by far my favorite thing! I love hearing your book recommendations as well as the recommendations from all your adoring fans(a.k.a. all of us posting here). Like Amy M. says, I am inspired to try so many new authors and books from it.

I also love when you share deleted scenes from your books 🙂 I want to know as much about those characters as possible.

Casting Calls, as Rachel pointed out, are very fun too!

I echo the love for the Weekly Reading Roundup and “If You Like”! Always find great book recommendations there.

It might be helpful to have the deleted/extra scenes you sometimes post listed near or under the book it’s from. I’ll sometimes remember a scene I liked but can’t remember how far back on the blog it is or be able to find it easily.

Thanks for sharing with us! Looking forward to more great writing 🙂

Definitely keep the Weekly Reading Round-Up, please! Other than that, fair game–a little shake up is good every now and then 🙂

I always have a hard time with change, but I understand why it must happen! Like the others I love the reading round up, when you give away some of the extra books you have, your peeporama, those free short little stories, and getting to see what other covers your books get in other countries. I’d love to see more in your bio but totally understand about wanting privacy 🙂
I love your website and it’s the only one out there I visit EVERY week 😉
