Pinkorama Time!

It’s Pinkorama time! I was so impressed by this year’s entries and would, before we begin, like to thank Candace, Cassandra, Christine, Jean, Casey and Julie for all the thought and skill they put into these. It’s hard to believe these started out as mere sugar-covered marshmallows.

Without further ado, in order of appearance, here they are!

“The Depeeption of the Emerald Ring” by Julie and Casey:

As you can see, it’s the grand finale of The Deception of the Emerald Ring, in which the rebel hideaway goes up in flames– and Miss Gwen musters her purple parasol for attack– while Jasper seizes the opportunity to attempt to abduct Letty.

To see all the close-up images– including Jasper’s infamous facial hair!– just click here.

“The Ruination of Penelopeep” by Christine and Jean:

This scene harks back to The Temptation of the Night Jasmine, in which Penelope gets herself into a bit of trouble with that Freddy Staines.

To read Christine and Jean’s hysterical scene description, click here.

“Peep & Biscuits” by Candace and Cassandra:

Taken from the Valentine’s Day novella, Bunny & Biscuits, after many travails, Miles finally has the chance to propose properly to Hen– with Bunny-the-bunny and a plate of ginger biscuits standing by.

Click here for close-ups– the entire scene, including portraits, furniture, and wainscoting, is made out of candy!

A loud round of applause is due to all of our Peep craftsmen. Aren’t these incredible?

Since the general level of amazingness (it’s my site; I get to use made up words when the situation calls for it) is so high, I’ve decided that there won’t be any ranking this year. Each of the three teams will receive one of my advance copies of The Passion of the Purple Plumeria in gratitude for their wonderful work. Kudos, ladies!

Which Pinkorama do you like the best?

Since I had nine advance copies of The Passion of the Purple Plumeria, this leaves six left to go…. Come back tomorrow for the first of the Purple Plumeria ARC give-aways!

It’s hard to say. Jasper’s sideburns are a nice touch; anything with Dame Maggie is a winner; and the candy-coated room for Miles and Hen is beyond clever. I agree that they all deserve an ARC.

I agree that they were all amazing! Having made one of these last year, I know how much effort and time goes into them! My vote is for “The Depeeption of the Emerald Ring” by Julie and Casey.

Excellent work! I am not sure that I can pick a favorite, but the sideburns are very hard to resist.

Impossible to choose just one winner! I suggest a three way tie.

The creativity of some people knows no bounds! (I thought about entering but I ate all of my peeps before I could start.)

They are great. Well done, everyone! Now can we eat them?

Those are all amazing, but for sheer workmanship and creativity, I’d have to go with Peeps & Biscuits!
