ASHFORD AFFAIR Audio

Want a sneak snippet of The Ashford Affair audio?

The folks at Macmillan audio just sent me Chapter One of the audio version! Just click the play button below to listen….

The audio is available on a preloaded digital audio player from Amazon or as a digital download from Audible and iTunes (the Audible and iTunes links will go live on April 9th, the day the book comes out– as soon as I have them, I’ll post them here!).

For those wondering what a preloaded digital audio player is (since I was!), I gather it’s an iPod-like device that has the book already uploaded onto it, so you can just put in the earphones or plug it in to your car sound system, press play, and go.

OOoh dear, its simply not my day!! :/

    Ms. Willig,

I apologise I’ve been missing out on all the lovely events you’ve shared on your blog of late, I’ve been knackered down with oak tree pollen allergies!! :/ Blessedly I’ve nipped it with licorce root/chamomile/echinacea tea and local honey! A girl can only take it so far,… I happily clicked over to Ms. Raybourn’s blog under the misthought of ‘only today’ was wells, ‘today!’ and not unfortunately yesterday! Laughs. I left her a happy note nonetheless!

And, despite not being able to ‘click to listen’ the audio for Ashford, I wanted to celebrate the news of something else with you! Remember how happy I was that you shared about Simone St. James?! I not only put “the Haunting of Maddy Clare” on my ILL list but I submitted a request for purchase to acquire “An Inquiry Into Love and Death”. Guess what!?!? I’m so stoked I can barely type… the acquistians librarian *purchased!* Maddy Clare!! Eek. I’m too thrilled for words! It’s encouraging too, because that usually means the next book shall follow, but I wasn’t sure if they’d get both so I went with the latest! It was brilliant seeing it on my holds list!! Eek.

I couldn’t wait to tell you!!

Thank you once again, for not only keeping us apprised of your own literary career but by allowing us to discover other authors of whom you fancy and many of us do too!!

    Bless you,
    Jorie

Seriously, where is my head!? I get all chuffed and bustled with blissful excitement and I forget to tell you the other half of my good news!? Ashford Affair was purchased too! And, they have all the Carnation books, which I am slowly making my way through! One day I can gather them for my personal library, but until then, I wanted to tell you that you have a readership in my local community, because your books are always added!!
