Downton Spoofs

In honor of the launch of Season Three of Downton Abbey, here’s a compendium of my favorite Downton spoofs so far (or at least those that were linkable):

— The musical tribute, The Fresh Prince of Downton Abbey.

— The Red Nose Day spoof, Uptown Downstairs Abbey, Parts I and II (seriously, you don’t want to miss this one).

Breaking Abbey, the Colbert Report’s mash up of Downton Abbey and Breaking Bad (you’ve never seen Lord Grantham quite like this before! Just don’t ask for his special Earl Grey….).

— One of my very favorites is the SNL spoof featuring Downton Abbey as advertised on Spike TV, aka Fancy Entourage.

— And then there’s Downton Arby’s— who shall inherit the franchise?

Happy viewing! Do you have any favorite Downton spoofs to share?

My husband and I are totally addicted to “Downton”! We both thought that “Uptown Downstairs” with Mrs.Danvers as housekeeper was just hilarious.
