Downton Spoofs

In honor of the launch of Season Three of Downton Abbey, here’s a compendium of my favorite Downton spoofs so far (or at least those that were linkable):

— The musical tribute, The Fresh Prince of Downton Abbey.

— The Red Nose Day spoof, Uptown Downstairs Abbey, Parts I and II (seriously, you don’t want to miss this one).

— Breaking Abbey, the Colbert Report’s mash up of Downton Abbey and Breaking Bad (you’ve never seen Lord Grantham quite like this before! Just don’t ask for his special Earl Grey….).

— One of my very favorites is the SNL spoof featuring Downton Abbey as advertised on Spike TV, aka Fancy Entourage.

— And then there’s Downton Arby’s— who shall inherit the franchise?

    My husband and I are totally addicted to “Downton”! We both thought that “Uptown Downstairs” with Mrs.Danvers as housekeeper was just hilarious.
