Texas Event in November
I’m thrilled to announce that next month, I’ll be appearing with a wonderful panel of romance novelists at the Stonebriar Centre B&N in Frisco, Texas. The line-up includes Sarah MacLean, Eloisa James, Elizabeth Boyle, Cathy Maxwell and Wendi Corsi Staub.
The event kicks off at 3:00 on Sunday, November 11. Hope to see you there!
Sigh. I want to go, I really do, but that’d mean driving 3 and a half hours each way… I might do it anyway.
But really, come show Austin some love!
(I don’t know how this works, so it may be that the authors themselves have less control than I am imagining. Either way, I don’t mean to pester.)

When I’m not on official book launch tour, I tend to set up events based on where I’m already attending conferences– that way it saves on the traveling.
How much control authors have depends on whether their publisher is touring them (in which case, very little control!) or whether they’re touring themselves (in which case, the constraints tend to be time and expense, which is why authors do a lot of events around their own home turf), so it varies wildly.
I don’t know yet where I’m going to be sent in April, when “Ashford” comes out, but if Austin is on the list, I’ll let you know!

Yay! I’m driving over from Alabama. I couldn’t resist so many wonderful authors in one place!
*sigh* when I saw frisco I thought you meant San Francisco and at least San Francisco is only 40 minutes from where I live…. I guess I can dream!
