Check out this wonderful summer reading list by Eloisa James on NPR!

She calls The Garden Intrigue “perfect for reading on a lawn chair in a flowery back garden with a glass of Pimm’s”– which rather makes me want Pimms Cup right now.

Garden Intrigue is in good company. Also on the list you can find Julia Quinn’s A Night Like This and Kristan Higgins’s Somebody to Love.

What’s on your summer reading list?

A Belated Congrats on your nuptials Lauren!

This summer I am reading the Pink Carnation Series all over again, the Gaslight Mystery Series by Victoria Thompson, and the Molly Murphy Mystery Series by Rhys Bowen (discovered during one of my library ramblings).

Hope you are having a wonderful summer!

Anything by you IS a good reading, anytime, anywhere!
Next year, Miss Gwen’s story will be out just in time for the summer… is she happy? Her parasol will be used for its intended purpose and not only to poke people!
I don’t have a summer list. Yet. But I’m definitely re-reading the Pink Carnations!

I actually do have The Garden Intrigue on my summer reading list, along with a reread of The Great Gatzby and a new-to-me author that is quickly becoming a new favorite: Karen White. I’m loving her latest book, Sea Change, a dual-time story set along the Georgia coast. Highly recommended!

I’m gratified The Garden Intrigue continues to get much-deserved exposure.

I’m as much interested in the works of the author of this article: Eloisa James. My first read of her works was Winning The Wallflower and it thrilled me. Oh dear, I’m hooked again! Now I have my sights set on Storming the Castle and The Duke is Mine.

I totally agree with you and Eloisa James and anyone else who prefers a good romance. Nothing makes me feel better because a REAL romance is the best experience on earth.
