Arizona: This Weekend!

I’m thrilled to be a part of the Tucson Festival of Books, which takes place on the University of Arizona campus in Tucson this weekend. You can find the full scoop on authors and events here.

The best part? Most of the events (including all of my panels) are free and open to the public– so head on over and check it out!

On Saturday, March 10, you can find me:

— 11:30-12:30, signing books at the Sisters in Crime booth (West Mall, #109);

— 1:00-2:00, discussing Wrestling the Past: Researching Your Way to Characters and Places Readers Love with Karen Hawkins and Kathleen Kirkwood (Koffler, Room 216);

— 2:30-3:00, signing books in the RWA booth (West Mall, #173)

— 3:00-3:45, signing more books in the Poisoned Pen booth (Central Mall, #231);

— 4:00-5:00, talking about Daring Deeds in Tumultuous Times with Caroline and Charles Todd (Integrated Learning Center, Room 130).

On Sunday, March 11, you can find me:

— 10:00-11:00, nattering on about Writing in Different Genres with Diana Gabaldon and Mary Doria Russell (UA Mall Tent);

— 12:00-1:00, signing books in the Clues Unlimited booth (Central Mall, #286);

— 1:00-2:00, discussing The Age of Napoleon with William Dietrich (Integrated Learning Center, Room 140).

A quick word about those signings…. There should be copies of my books for sale everywhere except the Sisters in Crime booth. If you’re coming to see me at the Sisters in Crime booth (Saturday, 11:30-12:30), you might want to bring your books from home or pick up copies at the Poisoned Pen or Clues Unlimited booths on the way over.

Hope to see you in Tucson!

    And what exactly did those Arizonans do to be so lucky? Sounds wonderful, and I wish I could be there. Decatur , GA has a great book festival, but not at your usual book launching time. However, Savannah has a Sleuth fest this time of year, so maybe you can come for that. Nothing more beautiful than Savannah in the Spring.

    They have sunshine! I am so looking forward to this and hope I can make it to see you, Lauren. What a special treat for us Arizonans!

    It was a little hot in the sun today out there! I’m looking forward to catching a talk and getting a book signed tomorrow.
