ORCHID AFFAIR in Paperback!

I just received this hot-off-the-presses advance copy of the paperback edition of The Orchid Affair. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Here it is hanging out with the RITA, a pile of UK Mistletoe, some promotional postcards for Jane Austen Made Me Do It that I keep meaning to do something with, the manuscript of the Kenya book, and a random ice bucket.

The Orchid Affair comes out in paperback on January 3, 2012, just in time to start off the new year!

    So, Mistletoe came out in paperback a Tuesday, so will Orchid affair. Are Tuesdays for books what Fridays are for films? The official “coming out” day?

    Hi, Celine! Tuesday does seem to the major release day– although for some strange reason, my hardcovers always seem to come out on Thursdays. Never a Wednesday, though!

    And just to confirm what we noticed, Eloisa James’ novella, Winning the wallflower, came out (ebook format only) last Tuesday, and her next book, The Duke is Mine, will come out on Dec. 27th… a Tuesday (in paperback too). So, it could be that the paperbacks are all released on Tuesdays, and harcovers on Thursdays ! I hope Wednesdays and Mondays are not jealous… 🙂

    I tried real hard, but just coulcn’t get to enlarge enough to read that 1st page of the new book. C’mon Lauren… you know we would really love a peek.

    Beautiful cover Lauren. I liked it the first time around too. Have fun with that big hunk of RITA bling! She is stunning!
