Holiday Contest– Preview?
I’ll admit it, I’m dying of curiosity. Based on the nature of the contest file, I won’t see the entries until I open the whole kit and caboodle and add up the votes on New Year’s Day.
So… just to slake my curiosity… who did you vote for as the lead in the Pink bonus chapter?
And for those who haven’t voted yet, you can find the Pink Holiday Contest over on the Contest page. Some popular character will be getting a whole, new, original bonus chapter!
The Uppingtons. You have teased us more than once about their beginning and I am just dying to know what it is!!
I have a hunch it is Geoff and Letty because I consider these two the sexiest couple you have written about. Lauren, you have established an undercurrent of smoldering sensuality between these two that is just hard to resist. You have left us craving more!
Letty and Geoff! By far my favorite couple (and that’s saying something, because they’re all awesome).
I voted for Jack Reid because I was so intrigued by his character in Blood Lily and was hoping to see more of him in another of your books. I’ve always been a sucker for a bad boy. 😉
Jack Reid(another “bad boy”), Geoff and Letty(favorite couple by far), or the Frumley Twins. I really liked them in “Black Tulip” and I miss them! It would be cool to do what Richard said and have twin spies.
I voted for Miss Gwen because I would love to know how she got to be the way she is. I feel like there’s a lot to be told about our favorite parasol wielding spy.

I am dying to hear more about Tommy Fluellen. I was crushed to hear that Ms. Gwen had taken his book slot.
Oh, good, a chance to mention several possible characters! I voted for Penelope, because I want to see what that formidable woman does next. Life in foreign lands often gave a British woman a chance to do much more than she could’ve at home. I think she’s going to be one of the memsahbs of power.
I gather that Jane figures largely in the next book, so I’ll also suggest Miss Gwen. Second (or third, or whatever) the motion to hear more about the Uppingtons.
Whatever character wins, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.
Geoff and Letty, although I would love to see them at a family event with Lord & Lady Vaughn.

I voted for the Duke and Duchess of Dovdale, because I really enjoy Charlotte’s optimism. If I could pick secondary characters, it would definitely be the Uppingtons.
Mary and Vaughn! I love to see the softer side of Vaughn.
The Vaughns, altho all the above are intriguing….maybe someday we’ll have them all back in an omnibus reunion/wrapup, buy I hope there will be lots more stories before then.

Dowager Duchess of Dovedale, naturally. I have no desire to be poked with that cane. And I’m not pretty or popular enough to be unaffected by her cutting remarks.
But I’ll be happy with any of these!

Miles and Hen!! It would be nice to see Richard and Miles make up. I think would be fun to see the four of them in action together!
I voted for Miles, but especially with Hen. I think Miles is adorable, and even more so when he is all love-struck!
I voted for Mary and Vaughn. I had just finished their book when I voted. I keep going back and forth between loving and loathing those two! Would love to see another tale from their pov.

Pleased to see lots of people voted for Geoff and Letty, because that’s my pick! I just love both of them. I don’t really know why – they just seem so down-to-earth and real. Maybe if they win you could incorporate some bonus Miles & Hen appearances, since they’re all good friends.

Jane!!!! but all of the above sound amazing!!! But I would love to find out more about Jane and as Jessica C mentioned I would love a hint at who her hero might be.:-) I am really looking forward to Miss Gwens book but I have to ask will Tommy Fluellen get his book as well? I do hope so….I just can´t help it you keep coming up with these amazing charachters that we all just fall in love with and want to know more about, and off course Jack Reid just sounds aaamazing….you know what I can just keep going and going:-)
