Literature Map

Yesterday, in the If You Like comments, Amy N mentioned the Literature Map. I hadn’t heard of it before, but I clicked on the link, and, voila!, there it was: an If You Like on a grand scale.

How cool is that?

I’m not sure I agree with all their suggestions, but some, like Deanna Raybourn and C.S. Harris, are spot on.

    How fun. Some of the suggestions are right on (Elizabeth Peters, Tasha Alexander), others made me laugh (Barbara Cartland! Michael Connoly, really?).

    I wonder who is reponsible for determining the “parameters” for something as subjective as comparative fiction? Just for fun, I typed in Jane Austen and got a whole passel of authors I enjoy.
