He’s baaaaacck! Today, on Smart Bitches, you can find the full, unexpergated (and did I mention free?) Amorous Addendum to The Mischief of the Mistletoe, “Away in a Manger: A Very Turnip Wedding Night”.
Thanks to the magical talents of SB Sarah, Turnip’s missing scene is available as a PDF download, in ePub format (for Nook and Kindle) and Mobi.
A brief word of caution: in compliance with the terms of my bet with Smart Bitches, the scene does dip into R-rated territory. So if you’d rather leave the door closed on that bit of Turnip’s life, you might want to stop reading about half-way through.
Huge thanks go to SB Sarah, for making me do it; to Joyce, for her amazing hand-drawn cover; and to all the Turnipsians out there. And, of course, to that massive heat wave last week. I wrote this during last week’s 100 degree weather in New York. If you notice a lot of references to snow and cold, put it down to wishful thinking….
Thank you , Lauren ! So very happy for Turnip and Arabella.
*clapping* Definitely worth waiting for! Thanks for giving Turnip and Arabella there wedding night! Loved it!
Well done Lauren!!! Thank you, thank you.
I loved it! 🙂
Haha so utterly brilliant!
I loved it!!! *Happy Sigh*. I think Turnip needs his own series!
Now I’m picturing a line of tiny Turnips following Arabella around…
I laughed so much. Brilliant story.
I just love Turnip! And Arabella is so perfect for him. Thanks so much Lauren 🙂
I loved it!! Thanks Lauren! Now how many more days until the next Pink book comes out? 😛
I loved it! Turnip and Arabella are both so sweet!
It was brilliant and fun! I hope we see them in future novels, even if it’s only briefly.
So sweet! What a lovely 3 day “night.” Also, loved that I could download it for my Kindle!
Loved it! I couldn’t stop smiling. 🙂
Wonderful. Thank you.
I like the above-mentioned ideas of both Tiny Turnips, and a Turnip series.
BTW, I think “Turnip Time” will become my secret code/catchphase for, well, *you know*!
I have to say it again I loved it. I really wish that I had a guy like Turnip. I can not wait until February for The Garden Intrigue.
So awesome! i have just started reading your books (and read them all in the space of two weeks, i couldn’t help myself) and just read The Mischief and the Mistletoe today. It was great to read Away in a Manger right after the book!
Ps. my friends and I have a name for guys like Turnip: Adorkable!
Thank you Lauren. It was a perfect start for a Monday morning. Great on liners from Turnip as always!!
The Mischief Of The Mistleltoe BEGGED for this because the book was just CHARGED with latent sexual energy between Turnip and Arabella. To not have them consummate their relationship would have been a downright crime. So very well done, as always, Lauren!
aw, it was perfect for them! and i’ll never look at christmas puddings the same now… 😉
Oh, Turnip…he is the winningest. Thanks so much for writing and sharing!
Thank you so much for this!
