Pink Comics: Masked Men and Talking Desks

Back when I was working on The Secret History of the Pink Carnation, this was one of the scenes with which I had the most fun….

The illustrations were all done by the wonderful Joanne Renaud.

Check back tomorrow to celebrate the Release Day of mass market Pink Carnation and for your chance to win a signed, numbered copy of one of the Pink Comics!

Yes! An comic-booked Purple Gentian — I love it! 🙂

Are these the only scenes that were made into comics (this and the other two scenes you posted, that is)?

Yes, it’s only the three scenes right now. Joanne and I had so much fun collaborating on these, though, that depending on how things go, further projects are a distinct possibility.

I am pretty positive this is my favorite scene in the whole book. I couldn’t stop laughing when he found Amy under that desk. Classic. ^.^

My favorite too, although how she can’t figure out that it is Richard is just beyond me….Such fun. I am listening to the recorded book this week, and this is one of the scenes I am especially looking forward to.

Richard looks so young in this scene as opposed to the last one, and rather like Wendell on Bones! Not like I pictured im exactly. Still the scenes are fabulous!

As my tween son would say…”That was totally awesome!”. I love the graphic novel concept. My son reads graphic novels all the time and I long wondered why someone hasn’t attempted one in this type of market. I would definately buy and read them. I love the art work in this sample…BRAVO. Keep bringing them on 🙂
