More good reviews for BLOOD LILY

In all the Pink I birthday excitement, poor Blood Lily has been getting rather short shrift. Not so on the part of the Historical Novels Review. In their latest issue, they write, “Willig masterfully captures India and its allure at the beginning of the 19th century.” Huzzah! Thank you, HNR!

I thought the Blood Lily was a delicious confection of a read! I didn’t touch it until I had enough time that I could read it undisturbed. Ahhh, so enjoyable. But I read it so fast that I may have missed a few things so I’ll have to go back an reread it. Eagerly anticipating the next one!

Blood Lily was wonderful, so much so that I’ve checked out a copy of White Moghuls to read farther! Only really good historical novels inspire that level of dedication. Penelope now rivals Mary for my favorite Bad Girl of recent reads.

Random puzzlement: Why do bumps on a ski slope and Indian rulers have names that *sound* just the same?
