Kate Reading is excellent. I am a huge fan of audio books. I listened to her read The Masque of the Black Tulip and she was wonderful- as was the book!

Thank you! i think I will listen to the Black Tulip tonight just to get ready! Will Audible release it at the same time as hard cover?

That is excellent news! I had stopped getting the audio books after they changed the narrator. It just wasnt’t the same.
Actually, Kate Reading is the reason I discovered the Pink series. I loved her rendition of “Can you Keep a Secret?” so much, that I went into the Audible catalog and found out what other books she recorded.
I loaded up my Ipod with Pink I and II, just before I went on an (extended) family vacation in Mexico in early 2007, and never looked back. I think I volunteered to watch all the (9)kids playing in the pool most of the time, because it provided me with the perfect opportunity to listen to Kate’s interpretation of the books.

hip hip hooray! I’m doing a little dance over this news. Like Georgia and Jennifer, Kate Reading’s narrative drew me into this series, especially in Black Tulip.

    Oh that is so fantastic!
I am an attict of listening to books on cd. and I’m so grateful that yours are available to listen to. (they are some of my top favorites) and I love kate reading. when justine ayre took over on “temptation” I thought I’d rip all my hair out at how she mispronounced Eloise’s name! and other stuff was just killing me. although she did have a softer voice to fit charlotte I still think kate could have pulled it off. thanks to the powers that be, cause Kate reading’s voice just fits these books so perfectly.

when is the release date of the blood lily on cd? because I must have it 🙂

Yipee! I am going to pass it on to all my other pink reader friends at school! I am so excited and have even more to look forward to now! 🙂

And to Georgia who previously posted, I love that book “Can you keep a secret?”! It is so funny. I too knew it would be good when I saw that Kate was the narrator. All my friends cant believe that I know the names of all the audio book narrators and can rate them. HAHA, but it matters who is reading to you for 5-however many hours in the car, they need to keep you entertained!
