More Fun With Covers
What would I do without foreign editions to keep me entertained? The paperback version of the UK edition of The Secret History of the Pink Carnation comes out this July. My fabulous British publisher just sent me an early version of the cover picture.
Pretty, no? I can’t wait to see what they do with Black Tulip!
I can’t see Amy wearing gloves…or keeping them white…
It is beautiful!
Very Pretty. I like it but where’s the pink?, lol. 🙂
Agreed no pink.. honestly that reminds me of the Black Tulip cover. But its lovely none the less..
Very pretty. It has always been a thorn in my side that the covers on my copies of I, II, and II have gowns from the wrong fashion era. I mean, I adore those gowns, but they weren’t what Amy, Henrietta, or Letty would have worn.
This gown does remind me of Black Tuilp, but I can’t pin why. Would a debutant wear lavendar? Isn’t that half mourning? Too fresh for Letty’s subterfuge… As for Amy, what about her yellow gown?
Can’t wait to see the others..
Beautiful, yes…but not connected to the story at all..where is the pink?
Very pretty cover. I love the partially hidden face and completely hidden eyes. I do agree with the others – where’s the pink? A pink carnation somewhere on the cover might have been a nice touch. Maybe one pink flower on her necklace….
I love this cover!
Yes, I’m so sorry, but I don’t like it. It looks too modern, and I agree with all above comments. Pink!
