May 1st Morristown Author Lunch
On May 1st, I’ll be speaking and signing books at the Morristown Junior League’s Eighth Annual Lunch with the Authors. Tickets are available through their website, and all the proceeds go to benefit an excellent cause: the JLMNJ Scholarship Fund. In addition to authors and edibles, there’ll be a basket raffle and booksigning. You don’t need to be a member of the Junior League to attend.
Now that warmer weather is almost here, I’ll be leaving the nice little cocoon of my apartment to sign books in New Orleans in early April, Illinois in June, and DC in July. More soon on all of those trips!
How do I keep missing you? This is your second signing in Illinois (I live in east central IL) and the second time I won’t be able to come to the signing 🙁
How do you feel about a university circuit? I would offer to make your books required reading for my classes but since I teach French that wouldn’t work…despite the nice historical information…
Well, the Illinois thing is very expensive though, even if you could go…
Is the one scheduled for DC only for those who attend that confrence? I ask because we are going to be up there for the Cubs/Nationals game for my birthday that weekend & it would be extra awesome if that signing was open…
Hi, Kristen! You don’t have to be a conference attendee to go to the booksigning. The signing is entirely open to the public. That would be great if you could make it!
Is that the same for the Illinois signing?
As far as I know, that should be the case, Elizabeth– all the writers’ conferences I’ve been to have had their signings open to the public.
Oh, thanks Lauren, you might me seeing me then!
Wonderful! I look forward to it.
My sister & I will probably be at the DC signing then (she’s the one who told to read Pink I).
I checked with the HNC and only people who are registered for the conference are allowed to go to the book signing 🙁
Meant HNS.
OK, I’ll stop pouting but if you want to meander down to Champaign-Urbana or over to West Lafayette, IN, there would be an adoring fan and a latte in it for you 🙂
Thanks for checking, Elizabeth– how upsetting! In that case, I’ll arrange some time while I’m there to do non-conference book signing.
That would be wonderful!
Do you ever make it West of the Cascades and North of California?
