Just read Karen White’s The Sound of Glass. That WAS on the list. I liked the name of the law firm btw (Williams, White & Willig). I am waiting for Beatriz Williams’s Tiny Little Thing, The Other Daughter, and The Lure of The Moonflower. Those are at the top. I am also waiting for The English Spy. Kristin Hannah’s Nightingale is in the queue, too. And those are just a few. To be honest, I also want to read Making it Stick, the Science of Successful Learning, but that’s for work! Still on the list, though.

Besides The Lure of the Moonflower and The Other Daughter, I recently started the Roma Sub Rosa Mystery Series Steven Saylor and have finished the 1st 2 and want to get back to the rest. I think I am moving into a Mystery phase so probably will see whatever mysteries out there that grab my interest and then I have a book I picked up on the $1 rack called The Pirate’s Daughter by Margaret Cezair-Thompson that looked interesting that takes place in Jamaica and has Errol Flynn in it (anybody read it? What did you think?).
That Summer is on my list, and Dry Bones by Craig Johnson, The Fixer by Joseph Heller, and Rock with Wings by Anne Hillerman, and 5 Days to a Clutter Free House (yeah, like that’s gonna happen). Add to this the last in the Pink Series when it comes out in August.
“The Lure of the Moonflower” is next. Can’t wait to meet Jack Reed.
Too many! My goal this summer is to get through my backlog (books I own but haven’t read yet) a bit. Moonflower and Daughter may be the only new release books I allow myself to read this summer!
I want to read at least one SciFi, one fantasy, and one nonfiction book this summer, on top of everything else.

I’m looking forward to Lure of the Moonflower- love Jack and Jane. 🙂 Then I’m thinking of taking an excursion into Egypt with some Elizabeth Peters, Michelle Moran, and Pauline Gedge, or perhaps I’ll revisit India with M. M. Kaye’s Shadow of the Moon, Victoria Holt’s The India Fan, and Valerie Fitzgerald’s Zemindar. Although, having just sped through Jennifer Roberson’s Robin Hood/Maid Marian series (Lady of the Forest, Lady of Sherwood), I may take an excursion into her fantasy series. The summer means fun and exploration, so it’s hard to commit to one avenue. Hopefully- time permitting- I’ll go down all of them.
My summer reading list includes “The Keepers of the house” by Shirley Ann Grau and “The Hurricane Sisters” by Dorothea Benton Frank. These are just 2 of the many books I have on my list.
The Secret Life of Violet Grant by Beatriz Williams, A Perfect Heritage by Penny Vincenzi, Wicked Charms by Janet Evanovich, China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan, and I know there are others, but I can’t recall them off the top of my head lol
Currently, I am on a scifi bend, so I am reading a YA called “A Thousand Pieces of You” aboit a daughter who is travelling through parallel dimensions to get revenge on the man who murdered her father!
I’m still trying to read What We’ve Lost is Nothing, which is a part of the Summer Reading Program at the library I work for. I also need to catch up on the Pink series as well as the Maggie Hope series. Hopefully I can! 🙂

I just finished rereading Winston Graham’s Poldark series in honor of the new television series, and I am looking forward to both Moonflower and The Other Daughter. For work, I am doing background reading for my new research project on rebellions in the 1760s, so there’s lots of rebelling and mayhem in the bookcase next to my desk.

Still haven’t read Manzanilla so I have that AND Moonflower to look forward to! Also All The Light We cannot See has been on my list for a while and I’ve been wanting to read some Beatriz Williams. Of course after reading these comments my TBR list just got longer 🙂
I am eagerly looking forward to several releases this summer (and fall) including “A Study in Death” (Lady Darby #4) by Anna Lee Huber, “A Curious Beginning” (Veronica Speedwell #1) by Deanna Raybourn (SOOO excited for this new series!), and “The Adventuress” (Lady Emily #10) by Tasha Alexander, and of course, “The Lure of the Moonflower”!! Hopefully I can decide on a couple of others to take on vacation in July!
What ISN’T on the list? The final Pink book, obviously, and The Other Daughter. I’ve been reading Tana French – so starting Faithful Place next – Davis’ latest mystery is out next month, Deadly Election, which I always devour – and a huge stack of other mysteries I haven’t gotten around to yet!

I’m reading a lot about Prohibition right now for research purposes, but I’d also love to get to Longbourn, Tiny Little Thing, and Case Histories

I’m re-reading Pride and Prejudice and I have a huge stack I need to get to if other books plus some cookbooks I like to read through.
X by Sue Grafton comes out in August, I’m excited for that one. Currently finishing up Q is for Quarry by Sue Grafton, and I have some Raymond Chandler up next – I love the Philip Marlowe radio dramas but never read the books, so that will be fun.
I’m currently reading The Secret Life of Violet Grant. I also want to get A Hundred Summers. Lure of the Moonflower is also on my reading list and more Gaslight Mystery novels by Victoria Thompson. 🙂

The Lure of the Moonflower. I’m finishing a book called Women in the Church. I’ve got to reread Dragonfly in Amber. And any other book I stumble upon that takes place between 1880-1929.
I just finished a book called The Great Influenza that I thought was awesome. And now I’m listening on my Audible account Consider the Fork, which is intereseting too.
Very much looking forward to some “me time” when this book finally comes out!!!
