MOONFLOWER Contest!

A few weeks ago, a box of ARCs of The Lure of the Moonflower, aka Pink XII, turned up on my doorstep:

Lure of the Moonflower_deeper sky2 photo (52)

It’s really time they found good homes, isn’t it?

I’ll admit, even though I knew it had to be done, it’s a bit of a wrench ending the series. It’s hard not to speculate about additional Pink books or spin-offs that just might possibly be fit into the writing schedule somehow, somewhere down the road.

So, for the first of the Moonflower ARC contests, here’s your question:

If there ever were more Pink or Pink-related books, whose stories would you like to see?

One person who comments will be chosen at random to receive an ARC of The Lure of the Moonflower. The winner will be announced on Thursday.

    Kat and Tommy

I’d love to return to Richard and Amy, who started it all.

  3. Sarah H on June 8, 2015 at 9:09 am

I would also like to see a story for Kat & Tommy.

  4. Susan Gorman on June 8, 2015 at 9:22 am

I would also love to read a story with Kat and Tommy

  5. Kelsey Langenfeld on June 8, 2015 at 9:26 am

I would love to see Kat and Tommy’s story!

  6. Sue Luce on June 8, 2015 at 9:30 am

Oh, Richard and Amy’s son with Miss Gwen and Captain Reed ‘s daughter. Didn’t Eloise say the lad didn’t stand a chance to escape?

  7. Irene on June 8, 2015 at 9:50 am

I would love to see Kat and Tommy’s story, but I’d also love to hear about how Lizzie Reid or Agnes Wolliston ended up!

  8. Make Kay on June 8, 2015 at 10:07 am

I’d like to see a follow up of Eloise.
    Also Kat and Tommy

  9. Sarah Redman on June 8, 2015 at 10:28 am

I would like to go back to the beginning with Richard and Amy!

  10. Laura on June 8, 2015 at 10:28 am

I will be unoriginal and say Kat and Tommy as well! But I would also like to hear about Agnes and Lizzie. Ms. Gwen’s daughter and Amy’s son would be an interesting pairing to visit too (I’m not going to lie – I did a little happy dance when we found out they ended up together in Purple Plumeria!)

  11. Céline on June 8, 2015 at 10:31 am

There is no question about that, that would be Kat and Tommy! And if I may dream further, I remember there being a story under Richard’s parents seduction that I would loooove to learn about!
And then… well… Eloise and Colin, of course! 🙂

  12. Deanndra on June 8, 2015 at 10:34 am

    Definately Kat and Tommy!

  13. Bev on June 8, 2015 at 10:34 am

Well, I’ll join the chorus for Kat and Tommy!

  14. Claire on June 8, 2015 at 10:35 am

I don’t know that it would be a book, but I’d love to see something from Colin’s perspective over the course of the first two or three books. Especially during Black Tulip and Eloise’s visit to Selwick Hall–what is he thinking during that time?

Other than that I also have to vote for Kat and Tommy!

  15. stephanie on June 8, 2015 at 10:35 am

Agnes wolliston I mean after all the sister of the pink carnation can’t be boring. Miss gewns child or Richard and Amy’s child. Or Vaughn’s child. I like the idea of a wrap up novel where the parents all get together and thr kids hatch a plot to become spies. Generation 2

  16. Marissa on June 8, 2015 at 10:36 am

I would love a book that goes back to the original people and give little short story updates, mainly Henrietta and Miles! 🙂

  17. Patricia on June 8, 2015 at 10:37 am

More Miss Gwen and William Reid

  18. Maryjane on June 8, 2015 at 10:37 am

More of Colin and Eloise, please!

  19. Chelsea Gouin on June 8, 2015 at 10:38 am

I would really like a copy of Miss Gwen’s book. I know it’s silly, but after the snippets from “Plumeria” I’d love to read the whole adventure! I think that’d be a fun spin-off.
Or, of course, reading about Gwen’s daughter and Amy’s son…when they were older of course! I think it’d be fun to read how the children of our spies fare. LOL, it could be the “Seeds of the Pink Carnation”. :p

    • Rebecca P on June 8, 2015 at 7:18 pm

Miss Gwen’s book would be hilarious!

  20. Meghan on June 8, 2015 at 10:38 am

I’ve been wanting Tommy’s story since we met him in Night Jasmine! Although I would also love Agnes to get her happily ever after too!

  21. Liz on June 8, 2015 at 10:38 am

Definitely Richard and Amy, although if it has to be a new character, then Agnes Wooliston.

  22. Samantha M. Pendleton on June 8, 2015 at 10:39 am

Definitely Kat and Tommy! After all she’s been through, she deserves a happy ending.

  23. Melodie on June 8, 2015 at 10:42 am

Have to say I have a soft spot for Miles and Henrietta. I would also love more on Eloise and Colin.

  24. Michelle Springer on June 8, 2015 at 10:43 am

I would also love a catch up with the characters that started it all, namely Richard and Amy and Miles and Henrietta.

  25. Jenni King on June 8, 2015 at 10:43 am

More Turnip! haha. I always loved his character. And I agree seeing where some of the kids ended up would be a lot of fun!

  26. Megan on June 8, 2015 at 10:44 am

More of Henrietta and Miles!!! They were my favs!!

  27. Rebecca E. on June 8, 2015 at 10:46 am

I second Richard and Amy’s Son with Miss Gwen and Captain Reeds daughter!! This needs to happen!! Orrrr Pen and Alex’s child, on a side note how did Pen feel about having Miss Queen as a step mother-in-law or whatever you would call that!?!

  28. Rebecca E. on June 8, 2015 at 10:47 am

Oopps stupid auto correct Miss Gwen

  29. Stef on June 8, 2015 at 10:48 am

    1. Edouard de Balcourt and Lucy Ponsonby.
    2. Jasper Pinchingdale and his tailor
    3. Kat and Tommy obvs!
    4. Lizzy Reid and…someone.
    5. Miss Gwen’s book
    6. Richard and Amy’s son with Miss Gwen’s daughter

    • Sheila on June 8, 2015 at 11:28 pm

Love these pairings, and as long as we are talking about offspring, Turnip and Arabella’s daughter should be quite interesting

  30. Debbie on June 8, 2015 at 10:48 am

    Collin and Eloise!!!

  31. Lauren H. on June 8, 2015 at 10:49 am

I would love to see something in the Pink Universe, but like 20 years in the future, with their kids in the spy game. The Napoleonic wars might be over, but there’s always plenty of intrigue, domestic and abroad for them to get mixed up in.

  32. Jane on June 8, 2015 at 10:52 am

    Colin and Eloise

  33. Jan Siler on June 8, 2015 at 10:52 am

I definitely wanted a happy ending for Tommy! But I cannot wait to read Jane & Jack’s tale!!!

  34. Harriette on June 8, 2015 at 10:57 am

    Miss Gwen.

  35. Diana P on June 8, 2015 at 10:58 am

I feel like a parrot, but Kat and Tommy.

  36. Karen on June 8, 2015 at 10:59 am

Kat and Tommy – always felt bad they never got their story!
    Plumeria
A Dorrington somewhere between Miles and Nicholas!
    Turnip’s Daughter
George Reid – wouldn’t mind going back to India

  37. Nina on June 8, 2015 at 10:59 am

I’d love to see some novels et 50 to 100 years later. There could be some lovely tie ins if it were set in the 20’s.
Or, one entire Colin and Eloise book.

  38. Emily Humphries on June 8, 2015 at 11:02 am

I love the idea of a book solely dedicated to Colin and Eloise, but from Colin’s perspective. Re-reading their journey as a whole but from his eyes I think would be intriguing. Or a next generation follow up, everyone is having babies, what is spy life like for them after the war and the need for spies or a spy school has diminished? What a ride it has been 🙂

  39. Paige B. on June 8, 2015 at 11:03 am

Lady Uppington! She is my very favorite. I think she and Lord Uppington have a dashing backstory, or maybe they do something further in a spin-off situation. It has always been my dream to have more of them. It would be especially fab, because it would be natural to bring in Richard and the spy school, or anyone really.

  40. Sara on June 8, 2015 at 11:04 am

Agnes Wolliston definitely! Oh, and something from Colin’s perspective (any book would do)! I know you touched on Vaughn’s son in one of your stand-alones..I believe The Ashford Affair! But catching up with the Vaughn’s to see how they are doing and maybe see where the other kiddos are! 🙂

  41. Elissa on June 8, 2015 at 11:05 am

Give me some Agnes Wooliston! I think she’s got her cousin’s spunk.

  42. Claire on June 8, 2015 at 11:06 am

I would like more of the original characters: Richard & Amy with a sprinkling of favorites like Miles & Henrietta, and the Dowager Duchess of Dovedale. Come to think of it, a backstory on the younger days of the DDD would be most entertaining!

  43. AngelB on June 8, 2015 at 11:06 am

The Uppington prequel. I really want to know all those “Oh, but you don’t want to hear that” stories.

  44. Eliana on June 8, 2015 at 11:06 am

    Henrietta and Miles

  45. Holly on June 8, 2015 at 11:07 am

Weirdly, I would love love a book about Richard and Miles (and hopefully their reconciliation). But I also think a return to Richard and Amy or Hen and Miles would be wonderful (they are still my favorite).

Or. Can Eloise and Colin have their own book?

  46. Jennifer on June 8, 2015 at 11:07 am

    richard and Amy!!!

  47. Jennifer on June 8, 2015 at 11:07 am

    Richard and Amy

  48. Angie Baugh on June 8, 2015 at 11:10 am

I think like everyone else, Kat and Tommy. But another story of Eloise and Colin would be lovely, too. My favorite couple, Letty and Geoff, or even their children would also make a great story. And please throw in Turnip!

  49. Abby on June 8, 2015 at 11:12 am

Another vote for Richard/ Amy and Miles/ Henrietta!

  50. Erin Gehringer on June 8, 2015 at 11:13 am

    More Eloise and Colin!

  51. Meredith on June 8, 2015 at 11:15 am

Sorry to echo the crowd, but I too would love to hear from Kat and Tommy!

  52. Kate on June 8, 2015 at 11:16 am

Definitely Tommy and Kat. But I would also love to see Agnes and Lizzy’s stories too. If Sally can find her Duke, then it’s only fair for Agnes and Lizzy to theirs as well.

  53. Catherine on June 8, 2015 at 11:16 am

I would like to see a post pink story on the children of the main characters as well as a thread of Collin and Eloise. It would be nice to see where the characters ended up years down the road.

  54. Ashley Peter on June 8, 2015 at 11:17 am

    Hands down Henrietta and Miles!

  55. Amanda V on June 8, 2015 at 11:17 am

    Miles and Henrietta

  56. Aleen Davis on June 8, 2015 at 11:18 am

I would love to hear stories about all of the kids, especially Miss Gwen’s. Would she have a weapon of choice herself?? lol As for the modern part of the story I would love to hear about Colin’s sister.

  57. Amanda on June 8, 2015 at 11:19 am

I would love to something with Lizzy!

  58. Brittany on June 8, 2015 at 11:23 am

Henrietta and Miles and/or Eloise and Colin!

  59. Amrita on June 8, 2015 at 11:25 am

I would like a pink 2.0 see what’s going on with the characters post the war and the romances between their children

  60. Nohemi Lopez on June 8, 2015 at 11:25 am

Just for fun I will like the Lucy Posonby history in a future book

  61. Lulu on June 8, 2015 at 11:27 am

Do we have to choose only one couple?! I agree with the others about going back to the beginning with the original characters. I’m also intrigued with touching base with all of the characters (one HUGE ball/party weekend!) in one book; the offspring of the original spy set; and following the generations of spies to Colin and Eloise. Sooo bummed about the Pink series ending. I found the first book several years after it came out and then couldn’t get caught up fast enough. Loved the series and hopefully look forward to some “updates” in the future?!

  62. Julia on June 8, 2015 at 11:30 am

First I have to say that I am sooooo SAD that it’s ending in the first place! But to answer the question, I would say Richard and Amy or Henrietta and Miles!

  63. Jessica S on June 8, 2015 at 11:31 am

Lord and Lady Uppington, and I’ve long wanted to see a story about Richard and Henrietta’s older brother.

  64. Karen on June 8, 2015 at 11:32 am

    Mary and Vaughn!

  65. Laura Hartness on June 8, 2015 at 11:33 am

I agree with others who have commented– either go back to the beginning with Richard and Amy, or do a fast-forward to their descendants in the far-flung future. Or better yet, do both! Start with Richard and Amy for a few chapters, then leap forward for a while, then conclude the series with Richard and Amy at the end of the book. Sound confusing??

(I picked up a copy of Crimson Rose at a used book shop yesterday. So happy!)

  66. Kelliey Chavez on June 8, 2015 at 11:34 am

I would love to see another story with Richard and Amy. I just can’t get enough of those two.

  67. Emilia Hald on June 8, 2015 at 11:37 am

    The younger girls.

  68. Laurie Canady on June 8, 2015 at 11:37 am

Kay and Tommy clearly need a story and a prequel with the elder Uppingtons and Dowager Duchess. Anything with Turnip makes me laugh. Ooh or story about Mrs Selwick-Asterly’s time in India

  69. Isabel on June 8, 2015 at 11:37 am

    The Dowager Duchess.

  70. Momma Sue on June 8, 2015 at 11:43 am

Colin and Eliose. We never get enough of them.

  71. Brandy on June 8, 2015 at 11:51 am

I loved Henrietta and Miles. Yet, Eloise and Colin need more time.

  72. Lauren on June 8, 2015 at 11:53 am

Definitely Miss. Gwen’s daughter and Richard and Amy’s son!

  73. Jessica on June 8, 2015 at 11:55 am

Geoff, Letty and their family. I got so invested in their story and when the book ended, I felt like I lost my friends. Speaking of, I may go back and re-read the book tonight. 🙂

Lauren, this series has provided me years and hours and happiness. Thank you for giving me that escape that I needed through college, law school, and now career. I’m going to be sad when it ends but your stories are attached to my best life events.

  74. Alena on June 8, 2015 at 12:00 pm

I’d love to see Lord and Lady Uppington’s story! They were such entertaining characters in the early days of the series. I bet there’s some great stuff there. 🙂

  75. Eirene on June 8, 2015 at 12:06 pm

I think it would be wonderful to see some of the back stories of the older characters in the novels, like the Dowager Duchess of Dovedale and how she came to be such a formidable personage. Or perhaps, it could be quite a lot of fun to have some stories that date back to the beginning of the family lines where the heritage eventually played out in the offspring could be established. I mean, wouldn’t it be fun to learn that Miles’ ancestor was really an officer circa 1690s, who took part in suppressing the Jacobite uprising, but also was well rounded enough to understand both sides of the conflict and perhaps was rescued by a woman who was trying to help innocents to safety. I happen to love Scotland and the history there, so maybe something pre-Pink Carnation, but with family ties to characters in the series.

  76. Lisa on June 8, 2015 at 12:06 pm

    Eloise and Colin!

  77. Kendra on June 8, 2015 at 12:13 pm

    Uppington prequel would be fun!

  78. Bailey on June 8, 2015 at 12:14 pm

Tommy and Kat would be fun, but I have always wanted a story about Lord and Lady Uppington, prechildren. Or Charles, who they always forget.

  79. Alexandra on June 8, 2015 at 12:15 pm

I’d like to see the next generation of the League, the children of Amy & Richard, Henrietta & Miles, Jane, etc. Then we can continue Eloise and Colin’s story, too, as she continues her research.

  80. Bess on June 8, 2015 at 12:16 pm

Hands down Kat and Tommy! But maybe their story is resolved in Jane’s book…? 🙂 If so, then Agnes and Lizzy are my next choices. 🙂

  81. Courtney on June 8, 2015 at 12:17 pm

Of course Kat & Tommy is an easy answer, but I would love to see more of Lizzie Reid or Agnes Wooliston. They need stories!

  82. Ellen on June 8, 2015 at 12:21 pm

There’s certainly enough material here to keep you going! I have to add my vote to Tommy and Kat, also the Uppington’s back story… in fact just about anything you want to write!

  83. Amy on June 8, 2015 at 12:27 pm

I would love to see another story with Penelope!

  84. Michelle Blandford on June 8, 2015 at 12:28 pm

So sad to see the series end but I’m happy for Collin and Eloise!

  85. Joey B. on June 8, 2015 at 12:30 pm

Any of them! I just want more Pink books! 🙂

  86. Stepfanie Webb on June 8, 2015 at 12:32 pm

    Kat and Tommy!!!!

  87. Catie on June 8, 2015 at 12:38 pm

I think it would be cool to see more of Eloise’s friends from Harvard!

  88. AmyMc on June 8, 2015 at 12:38 pm

I’ll add yet another drumbeat for Tommy. He stole my heart during “Night Jasmine” as much as Miles did in “Pink Carnation,” and I so want to see him get his happy ending!

  89. Shannon on June 8, 2015 at 12:39 pm

Richard’s parents would have a fiery romance, I would imagine.

  90. Amanda on June 8, 2015 at 12:41 pm

I also fell in love with Tommy and I would love more of him! I think I’d also like to see what other trouble Penelope got up to in India

  91. Katie on June 8, 2015 at 12:50 pm

I would love a return to India to see more adventures with Penelope, as well as Henrietta, Miles, Richard, and Amy.

  92. Joy D King on June 8, 2015 at 12:50 pm

Richard and Amy, though I would also love to read more about Tommy.

  93. Rachel on June 8, 2015 at 12:53 pm

Kat and Tommy, or just a catch up on all the characters as a whole

  94. Jacqueline on June 8, 2015 at 12:55 pm

I would love to read more on Letty and Geoff, as they were my favorite. However, your characters are all wonderful, so a collection of shorts on each in the years following the war would be lovely. Seeing them as parents, running their households, still being in love would be such a treat. A perfect book end to the series.
    Thank you for these stories!

  95. Mary on June 8, 2015 at 12:57 pm

    More about Miss Amy Balcourt!!

  96. Paul on June 8, 2015 at 12:58 pm

    More pen/miles

  97. Shannon Dunn on June 8, 2015 at 1:01 pm

    Agnes!!!!!

  98. Christine Holt on June 8, 2015 at 1:11 pm

I would really love to see a time-travelling Miss Gwen come to visit Eloise! There are so many fun/interesting possibilities there.

  99. Tricia on June 8, 2015 at 1:18 pm

Timmy and Kat, and the Uppingtons!

  100. Kristy Motz on June 8, 2015 at 1:18 pm

Kat and Tommy. Long before Lauren mentioned she’d originally planned a book to include First Lieutenant Thomas Fluellen, I’d been in mourning that he hadn’t ended up with Penelope. So hearing he wasn’t going to get his own book after all was doubly hard to take. Maybe we could get Lizzy Reed into the book too with one of Tommy’s friends and make it a double-header

  101. Elizabeth on June 8, 2015 at 1:19 pm

I would love to see more of Turnip, Arabella and their baby!

  102. Amy on June 8, 2015 at 1:20 pm

I would to see a story about Lizzie Reid or Agnes Wooliston. They also brought a lot of fun to the stories they appeared in. I would also love an update on Colln and Eloise. Love the series getting sad it will be over but so excited for Moonflower!

  103. Debbie Isley on June 8, 2015 at 1:20 pm

    Amy and Richard

  104. Beverly Summers on June 8, 2015 at 1:25 pm

A prequel featuring Richard Selwick’s parents and their contemporaries!

  105. Kate Thomas on June 8, 2015 at 1:28 pm

As a public librarian, I recommend your books to so many people- men, women, teens… I was thrilled when a reluctant adult reader said she loves them and was going to move on to the next one! Looking forward to your new one so I can recommend the whole series.

  106. Cathy Worthington on June 8, 2015 at 1:30 pm

While I would definitely like to read Kat and Tommie’s story, if I can only choose one it would be Lizzie.

  107. Zelda Sabel on June 8, 2015 at 1:37 pm

    Lizzie Reid!

  108. Ashley on June 8, 2015 at 1:37 pm

I’d like a happy ending for Kat Reid and learn more about what happened to Penelope and Alex. I find all of the Reids very interesting. A Lizzie story would be great as well.

  109. Pat Dupuy on June 8, 2015 at 1:38 pm

I think Richard and Henrietta’s parents have a lot of tales to tell. And why is their oldest such a stick in the mud? I can see him rolling his eyes everytime his parents kiss or embrace!

  110. Kayse on June 8, 2015 at 1:50 pm

My vote would be for Richard’s parents, the Marquess and Marchioness of Uppington!

  111. mel burns on June 8, 2015 at 1:50 pm

I’m so excited about Jane’s book, I’ve been wanting to read it for years!!!

I would like to read a contemporary mystery series with Eloise and Colin or a Waterloo story with an ensemble of Pink spies.

  112. Nicola B on June 8, 2015 at 1:56 pm

The Children of Richard and Amy…

  113. Pam on June 8, 2015 at 2:05 pm

Kat and Tommy have already been claimed by many, as has Eloise (my academic soul sister!), so let’s see… it could be interesting to have something actually set *at* Richard and Amy’s spy school–perhaps it could be infiltrated by a Nefarious Frenchman/woman? Or something from the perspective of the Black Tulip and his petals?

On a personal note, an ARC would be just the best graduation gift for a newly minted PhD, wink wink pick me 🙂

  114. Tessa on June 8, 2015 at 2:10 pm

Lizzie Reid NEEDS her own story.

  115. Lynn Schnitzer on June 8, 2015 at 2:31 pm

The masses have spoken: Kat and Tommy! Think of the sinister motives Sally, Lizzie and Agnes would attribute to you if there were 13 books in the series!

  116. LoraLynn on June 8, 2015 at 2:35 pm

The Dowager Duchess needs some fantastic back story. Can you take us back 40 or so years to when everyone was dipping snuff and powdering their wigs and give her something fabulous and spyish to do?

  117. Dara on June 8, 2015 at 2:40 pm

    The Russia story!!!!

    • Jennifer on June 8, 2015 at 8:40 pm

      I second the Russian Story!

  118. Chelsea Frandsen on June 8, 2015 at 2:44 pm

Kat and Tommy or…Lucy Ponsomby. I’d love to see a Pink Carnation Mission through Lucy’s eyes.

  119. Jessye on June 8, 2015 at 2:56 pm

Second epilogues for all main characters! Like Julia Quinn did with the Bridgerton series, so we can see the happily ever after and delight in our favorites, but if not that definitely Tommy.

  120. Sarah on June 8, 2015 at 3:04 pm

I’d love to read about Kat and Tommy, and see how George, Lizzie, and Parsnip turned out. AND I’m sure Pen and Alex did not lead a boring life!

  121. Melissa on June 8, 2015 at 3:08 pm

Gabrielle Jaouen! How she ended up in New York and how she had five husbands! Just finished re-reading that book (Orchid Affair) as I am re-reading the entire series a second time in preparations for Moonflower!!

  122. Lia on June 8, 2015 at 3:11 pm

    More Richard and Amy!!!!!

  123. bn100 on June 8, 2015 at 3:26 pm

    Kat

  124. Kate on June 8, 2015 at 3:30 pm

I would love the story of the Uppingtons!

  125. Amanda B. on June 8, 2015 at 3:34 pm

Oh wow! So hard to choose. More Penelope!!

  126. Linda on June 8, 2015 at 3:39 pm

I’m getting my wish with the Moonflower! I’ve wanted more Jack Reid since his first appearance!

  127. Ashley M on June 8, 2015 at 3:45 pm

Kat and Tommy please? And after Gabrielle Jaouen?

  128. Amanda P on June 8, 2015 at 3:50 pm

    Lizzie or Plumeria Reid!

  129. Andrea Peck on June 8, 2015 at 3:57 pm

I have a mild obsession with Miles and Henrietta and would definitely read another book that at least features them prominently.

  130. Alexa on June 8, 2015 at 4:22 pm

    Big surprise, Tommy and Kat.

  131. Tanya on June 8, 2015 at 4:25 pm

Tommy definitely needs his own book, but I would also love love love for Lizzie and Agnes to find their own happily ever afters, too! And echoing everyone else, catching up with our favorite characters and their families is always great too! Like, Mary and Vaughn’s children and Amy and Richard’s and Letty and Geoff’s…need more information about their little ones.

  132. Jenny on June 8, 2015 at 4:37 pm

I think Turnip is the cat’s meow, and I would love to see more of his good-natured spirit.

  133. Deanna on June 8, 2015 at 4:38 pm

I’m sure I’m in the minority, but Geoff and Letty!! In my fantasy life he’s the one for me 🙂

  134. Becky W on June 8, 2015 at 4:44 pm

    Definately Kat and Tommy

  135. Diya on June 8, 2015 at 4:44 pm

I’m going with everyone else and gonna say Kat and Tommy as well as Miss Gwen’s daughter and Amy’s son!

  136. redfield on June 8, 2015 at 4:46 pm

I sound like a broken record but KAT and TOMMY

  137. Anna Troy on June 8, 2015 at 4:50 pm

Lizzy Reid!!! Though Turnip is a close contender. 🙂

  138. Bekah on June 8, 2015 at 4:54 pm

I vote for Agnes Wooliston! Hers could be an interesting story I think 🙂

  139. Laura on June 8, 2015 at 5:13 pm

I would love a prequel with the Uppingtons and also the Dowager Duchess (not necessarily combined but I would love to know both their stories) and a second epilogue with the characters who we haven’t been able to revisit with the stories on the website yet. And if I can be really greedy perhaps a third epilogue for the characters you’ve already revisited…

  140. Beth on June 8, 2015 at 5:22 pm

    Definitely Kat and Tommy!

  141. Suzanne Boschan on June 8, 2015 at 5:24 pm

I like the idea of fast forwarding 30 years into the future,to see what has become of the various lead characters of the books. Or maybe a little further into the future, to the time of 1848 and the various revolutions that broke out all over Europe. I imagine there must have been a need for some spies at that time! Perhaps Eloise and Colin can stumble over some later documentation that brings the story forward to that 1848 period.

  142. Dianna on June 8, 2015 at 5:26 pm

With all these comments you must know we all want more sequels to the Pink Carnation series!!! It would be nice to have a family tree showing all the marriages and children that are born to all our different characters and families and if any of the second generation ended up together. Also let us know about Colin and Eloise’s children and future! We just can’t let them all go!

  143. Liz on June 8, 2015 at 5:35 pm

I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Amy and Richard. I’d love to see how their lives in England play out. Kat Reid also deserves her own story; after such a hard life, I want to see her happy.

  144. Celeste on June 8, 2015 at 5:36 pm

I agree with wanting romance for Kat Reid!

  145. Melissa on June 8, 2015 at 5:38 pm

I would love to see what happened to Penelope and Alex! Love reading about India!

  146. Lindsay on June 8, 2015 at 5:55 pm

Hate to be a broken record but a Kat and Tommy book would be awesome or I’d really like an almost ensemble cast so we can find out what’s going on in their lives or also the kids marrying kids plot

  147. Mary C on June 8, 2015 at 6:21 pm

First choice would be a follow up for Henrietta and Miles! Brand new, I have to also say Kat and Tommy.

  148. Elena Yatzeck on June 8, 2015 at 6:31 pm

I love the prequel ideas! DDD and the Wooliston parents! And Gwen’s contemporaries. 🙂

  149. LiMin on June 8, 2015 at 7:01 pm

Penelope and Alex! We’ve seen some glimpses of the most of the other couples after their stories have ended, I’d love to hear more of what became of the two of them!

  150. Rita on June 8, 2015 at 7:05 pm

Definately would like more on Kat and Tommy.

  151. Rebecca P on June 8, 2015 at 7:19 pm

I would like Miss Gwen’s book, or to circle back to revisit Amy and Richard.

  152. Molly J on June 8, 2015 at 7:21 pm

I definitely would LOVE to see a prequel with Richard’s parents.

    …Also Kat & Tommy.

  153. Athena on June 8, 2015 at 7:28 pm

What about Jane’s brother Ned? Where is he? Perhaps he picks up the family business and finds his own adventures…

  154. Jane B. on June 8, 2015 at 7:39 pm

    Lizzie. Or Colin and Eloise.
Or, why not admit it? I’d read any more Pink novels/novellas/materials you do.

  155. Julie E on June 8, 2015 at 7:54 pm

    Can’t wait to read it!

  156. Kiley on June 8, 2015 at 8:23 pm

I would love to see a spin of the children that the Historical characters have a long side the contemporary characters. I would also love to see a novela for Serena too!

  157. Samantha on June 8, 2015 at 8:25 pm

I’d love to read the Uppingtons story since they were a love match and not arranged, must have been scandalous. I’d also love a reunion with all the characters popping back in, especially Miles 🙂

  158. Heather on June 8, 2015 at 8:32 pm

Gabrielle Jaouen. She was clearly destined for greatness.

Kat & Tommy would be a good read, but it’d be even better if there were some Robert & Charlotte and Alex & Pen updates in it.

  159. Alexandra on June 8, 2015 at 8:47 pm

I’d be curious to hear a Pamie update.

  160. Jennifer on June 8, 2015 at 8:49 pm

The Chevalier de la Tour d’Argent would make a great story. I find him very witty! My other choice is the Russian Story. I would love to know more about what was happening there during Napoleon’s reign.

  161. Amy on June 8, 2015 at 8:49 pm

I would love to hear how Agnes and lizzy’s stories go. Also it would be great to tie in Richard and Amy and their son. Go back to wear it all began!

  162. Heather M on June 8, 2015 at 9:07 pm

    1. Kat & Tommy
    2. Penelope & Alex
    3. Lizzie
    4. Agnes
    5. Geoff & Letty
    6. Really any of them – short stories maybe?

  163. Betty S. on June 8, 2015 at 9:08 pm

    Absolutely Kat and Tommy!

Second choice – Andre and Laura in America.

  164. Kimberly on June 8, 2015 at 9:14 pm

Look forward to reading and listening to the last of the Pink series! Obsessing over Kat and Tommy but would love to see Lizzy or Plumeria as well.

  165. Shannon Combs on June 8, 2015 at 9:40 pm

    Love, Love these books.

  166. Kathy on June 8, 2015 at 9:40 pm

I’ve always wanted a story to go with the Chevalier de la Tour d’Argent. He seems like a good male lead. That said, I miss Miles and Hen.

    • AngelB on June 9, 2015 at 5:03 pm

Me too. He was such a great distraction. My guess he has a role somewhere in Moonflower since he does have crush on Jane. Can’t wait to read it!

  167. Chelsea on June 8, 2015 at 9:50 pm

Henrietta and Miles!! The Masque of the Black Tulip was the first Pink I read!!

  168. MEO on June 8, 2015 at 9:59 pm

Eloise and Colin and of corse Mrs Seleick- Alderly. There is a story there screaming to be told.

  169. Dee on June 8, 2015 at 10:16 pm

Richard and Amy – they started my love affair with the Pink series 🙂

  170. Calli Fox on June 8, 2015 at 10:38 pm

I would love to see Richard and Hen’s parents. It would be great to see how their relationship started and how it changed (if it did) over the years. And obviously, a Colin and Eloise story.

  171. SuzanneH on June 8, 2015 at 11:13 pm

I would like to see more of Geoff and Letty, they were my favourite couple. As a new one I think either Kat and Tommy or Richard and Amy’s son and Miss Gwen’s daughter would be hilarious.

  172. Amy Lemke on June 8, 2015 at 11:33 pm

    More Fitzhughs, please!!!!

  173. Jessica Baughman on June 8, 2015 at 11:43 pm

I’d enjoy books that follow the children of all the pairings involved. See what kind of mischief they get into trying to be spies.

  174. Sarah Hall on June 8, 2015 at 11:58 pm

I echo the Kat & Tommy desire! And Pink Carnation: The Next Generation would also be wonderful! 🙂

  175. Diandra on June 9, 2015 at 12:06 am

Definitely Richard/Amy and/or Miles/Henrietta! I’m clearly very nostalgic about the beginning of the series… 🙂

  176. Patricia E on June 9, 2015 at 1:37 am

Lizzie Ried and ??? – just to see Miss Gwen handle her puppyish suitors.
An adventure with Miss Gwen and the Dowager Duchess of Dovedale – can you imagine?
    AND Kat and Tommy

  177. Linda Mollno on June 9, 2015 at 2:42 am

As a historian and a sentimentalist I’d like to delve deeper into the story of Amy and Richard from the first Pink novel. Their story of their love affair, children, grandchildren, etc. has the makings of a saga.

  178. Linda Mollno on June 9, 2015 at 2:47 am

As a historian and a sentimentalist I’d like to delve deeper into the story of Amy and Richard from the first Pink novel. The story of their love affair, their children, their grandchildren (all in the family business of course) has the makings of a lively saga.

  179. Mickey on June 9, 2015 at 2:59 am

I’d happily read anything tied into the series! Lots of intriguing suggestions have been made already, but I’ll add my votes for more Richard & Amy, more Turnip, and something featuring the spy offspring.

  180. Georgia on June 9, 2015 at 6:16 am

Either Kat and Tommy or Lady and Lord Uppington.

  181. Jennifer on June 9, 2015 at 6:17 am

I’d be curious to read the same stories, but from from Jane’s POV. For example, I think the Garden Intrigue would be very interesting if she were narrating it.

  182. Latricia Davis on June 9, 2015 at 6:46 am

I am dying to know more about Richard and Amy! But would happily read anything because the historian in me loves the series

  183. Karen H on June 9, 2015 at 6:56 am

I want to see them all married off! Kat & Tommy and Agnes and Lizzy. The hard part would be not introducing any new regulars because then the cycle starts all over. Much like an Austen novel, I just want to see everyone get the happy ending they deserve.

  184. Christie Martin on June 9, 2015 at 7:02 am

Tommy, Lizzie Reid or the Uppingtons.

  185. Barbara E on June 9, 2015 at 7:18 am

Colin and Eloise!! I love how you flip back and forth through the ages with the stories it makes me read the books faster to get back to each of their stories.

  186. Amanda on June 9, 2015 at 8:03 am

Aunt Arabella (Colin’s aunt) would be great

  187. Olivia on June 9, 2015 at 9:22 am

Definitely Kat and Tommy, and Lizzie Reid. I would also love to see some from the next generation of kids.

I’d love to learn more about Colin’s family and the pairings that led to him.

  188. Liz D. on June 9, 2015 at 9:22 am

Ditto for Kat and Tommy! I always have wanted Tommy to find some happiness. And from a purely selfish standpoint (since they’re my favorite characters) would love to see more of Letty and Geoff! The Emerald Ring still holds the top spot in the series for me 🙂

  189. Meredith A on June 9, 2015 at 9:58 am

A full-on Eloise and Colin book! With little updates about all the other leading characters within that book, of course. And maybe a book about Parsnip. And Kat and Tommy. In other words, I don’t want the series to end!!!!! Keep writing more!

  190. Antonia on June 9, 2015 at 10:22 am

I would read about any of them!

  191. Michelle on June 9, 2015 at 11:06 am

    More Turnip or holiday-related books.

  192. Carrie Bryant on June 9, 2015 at 11:43 am

    Lizzie or Agnes!

  193. Nancy on June 9, 2015 at 11:50 am

I would like to see Jack Sister and definitely tommy have a story of there own

  194. Abby on June 9, 2015 at 1:15 pm

Kat and Tommy as well! But I also would like to know more about Penelope and Alex’s time in India so maybe there could be a few letters exchanged.

  195. Pam on June 9, 2015 at 1:18 pm

    Richard and Herrietta’s parents.

  196. Bess on June 9, 2015 at 1:18 pm

I would like to see George Reed He seems sadly neglected, with all the attention on his father and siblings. Also, Kat, however her story develops. Thanks for a fabulous series.

  197. Kristi Burch on June 9, 2015 at 1:24 pm

Richard and Henrietta’s parents. Oh, why are their names escaping me! There is definitely a juicy back story.

  198. Miss Eliza on June 9, 2015 at 6:15 pm

Damn, lots of people here. 100% want to read about Kat and Tommy. Though, whatever story was going to be set in Russia, that one might win out in my mind.

  199. Jeannie Luntz on June 9, 2015 at 7:56 pm

Lizzie and Hen. Also Tommy and Kat

  200. Larissa on June 9, 2015 at 8:47 pm

Mine is not a specific person, but I’d love to see descendants of some of the mains engaging in espionage around WWI.

  201. Serena on June 9, 2015 at 9:10 pm

I clicked with the intention of just saying Lizzie, but after reading the other comments I have to add that Ms. Gwen’s novel would be awesome (though I can’t even imagine how you could write it, but I’d buy it if you did!)

  202. Suzanne on June 9, 2015 at 9:37 pm

Another vote for Kat & Tommy!!

  203. Jessica on June 9, 2015 at 10:12 pm

Ooooh so hard! Got to admit, I’d LOVE to read Miss Gwen’s book. Other than that, it would be fun to see how Richard’s parents got together, as well as seeing the romance between Kat and Tommy.

  204. Yvette R. on June 10, 2015 at 12:54 am

Tommy! Maybe with Kay, maybe not.

Also, the Chevalier with … Lizzy! (Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!!!) Now that WOULD be fun! I think that he might have to grow up a bit to keep her from getting herself killed from sheer recklessness.

  205. Sarah G. on June 10, 2015 at 1:26 am

Tommy and Kat, with Miss Gwen’s daughter and Amy’s son a close second, but really I’d read anything Pink related. 😀 You’ve created such a wonderful world and I’m sad to see it end!

  206. Kate A. on June 10, 2015 at 1:47 am

Pammy…I would love a book or novella or short story to see if she can find her happily ever after instead of keeping droves of men in the wings. It would be great to also have the story include flashbacks so we can get a glimpse of why she is the way she is.

  207. Rebecca Y on June 10, 2015 at 6:50 am

    Lizzie Reid
    Agnes Wooliston
    George Reid

  208. Amisha on June 10, 2015 at 11:51 am

More of: Henrietta and Miles and about Miles and Richard
    More of: Eloise and Colin
    Maybe: Serena…

  209. Vizelle on June 10, 2015 at 1:50 pm

I’d love to read about the Dowager Duchess in her youth!

  210. Alexandria on June 10, 2015 at 2:53 pm

Well, you don’t HAVE to stop!? You could go off into a whole new era and have Colin’s grandmother be the spy 😀

  211. Virginia on June 10, 2015 at 3:36 pm

Every time I reread the first Pink I thin how amazing it would be if Stiles had his own story. That man cracks me up. 🙂

  212. Emily on June 10, 2015 at 4:41 pm

I would love to hear about Lord and Lady Uppington, Agnes Wooliston, Letty and Geoff or Henrietta and Miles! Love this series and so sorry to see it end. I think I’ll start over again tonight!

  213. Kimberly on June 10, 2015 at 10:02 pm

I’d like to see more adventures with some of the characters in the first several books. Richard and Amy, Henrietta and Miles and such.

  214. Bridget Erin on June 10, 2015 at 10:12 pm

Well I hate to sound like a copy cat but Kat and Tommy. Also the Uppington’s love story holds great interest. But what I would really love is a compilation of what happened to the characters after their books ended, especially Henrietta and Miles, and Charlotte and her Duke, and Richard and Amy….wait who am I kidding I love them all.

  215. Diane stiles on June 10, 2015 at 10:12 pm

    More Miss Gwen!

  216. Shenandoah Strojek on June 10, 2015 at 10:13 pm

I would like to see another story about Turnip. He was my favorite character. And I thought he was wonderful.

  217. Juli Temple on June 10, 2015 at 10:13 pm

    Kat @ Tommy

  218. Julie Rorie on June 10, 2015 at 10:14 pm

    Kat and Tommy

  219. Elizabeth P on June 10, 2015 at 10:16 pm

    Geoff and Letty.

  220. Sara B on June 10, 2015 at 10:19 pm

I think it would be cool to see penelope, alex, charlotte and robert solve mysteries/ fight crime in India.

  221. Tina Otayco on June 10, 2015 at 10:31 pm

I would like to see how Kat, Tommy, Agnes, and Lizzie ended up. Also future Reid daughter and Dorrington Son. And also to see what the Vaughn children would be like. Love Mary and Vaughn’s story. Love all of them.

  222. Caryn S on June 10, 2015 at 10:34 pm

More Penelope & Alex, and more on the future of the Vaughns! Excited to read the last book!!

  223. Tina Otayco on June 10, 2015 at 10:35 pm

Oops I meant Reid daughter and Selwick son!

  224. NicoleOrr on June 10, 2015 at 10:52 pm

This is a hard question! I’d want to hear more about Richard and Amy or Henrietta and Miles. If I had to choose someone new, I think it would be fun to hear about Agnes!

  225. Erin clayton on June 10, 2015 at 11:12 pm

I would like to see what happens to Lucy Ponsonby. Does she get her comeuppance or do events align and allow her to grow?

  226. Linda on June 10, 2015 at 11:47 pm

I’d like to see how Pen and Alex are doing in India. Also, what were Jane and the Gardener up to while Miss Gwen was in Bristol? How is Sally as Lady of the Manor?

  227. Christie Eckstrom on June 10, 2015 at 11:50 pm

I would love to see a story based on Agnes Wooliston. She seemed so full of pep! Thank you so much for sharing your stories. I have loved each and every one.

  228. Jacquelyn Hayek on June 11, 2015 at 2:17 am

More on Kat Reed, maybe young Agnes Wooliston, and I know this is a little odd but I wondered about a catch-up collection (in the style of The Canterbury Tales) where the group is traveling somewhere or having a long weekend together and we get to learn the progress and experiences of all the couples in turn throughout.

  229. Sandra Limbach on June 11, 2015 at 2:27 am

I certainly am a Miles and Hen fan however, Aunt Arabella seemed she always had a few tales to tell in her backstory. Fascinating stuff!

  230. Kathy Pulver on June 11, 2015 at 7:55 am

It’s a 3-way tie between Miss Gwen’s book, Miss Gwen and Captain Reed and Turnip

  231. Adrienne R. on June 11, 2015 at 8:22 am

I wouldn’t mind waiting a few years for some of the offspring of current characters to grow up a little bit and then see where it goes.

  232. Hannah P. on June 11, 2015 at 10:33 am

I’d love to see a prequel about Richard’s parents!

  233. Dawn Swarthout on June 11, 2015 at 10:56 am

Definitely offspring stories – Henrietta’s and Miles’ children would be entertaining for sure. And Gwen’s and Reid’s children would be great too.

  234. Taylor on June 11, 2015 at 4:15 pm

i may be the only one, but I think it would be fun to learn more about the Vaughns. Somehow I can’t help but think that any child rised in that household would have quite a bit to say!

If it has to be about someone new, I would also say Agnes Wooliston. She seemed so fun and full of energy that having a story of her own only makes sense.

  235. Sarah WJ on June 12, 2015 at 7:07 am

Kat and Tommy, of course, for a new couple and an update on the Henrietta/Miles and Amy/Richard clan. With appearances by Eloise and Colin!

  236. Alise on June 12, 2015 at 9:32 am

Henrietta and Miles! But more backstory on Richard and Miles’ escapades or the Selwicks at large would be fun!

  237. Pam on June 14, 2015 at 1:42 am

Eloise and Colin’s story, along with the rest of Colin’s crazy family please!
Then the original 4…Richard/Amy/Henrietta and Miles
And of course…more Jane! (the Pink Carnation herself) Not having read your last book yet (obviously) I don’t know how much you have chosen to share with us of Jane’s thoughts of her previous missions during all these years, watching her friends find love, etc. We got to know a little of Jane the person in the first book, and then after that, she was just Jane the operative. I would like to know more of her back story…and more of her future also.

  238. Kelly on August 13, 2015 at 2:44 pm

I would like to see Lizzie Reid has her own story
