Charity Auction: PURPLE PLUMERIA
This year, for Brenda Novak’s annual online auction for diabetes research, I’m giving away the last of the Purple Plumeria tote bags (with the Meadows crest so cunningly designed by Shelli), along with a signed copy of The Ashford Affair— and one of my four remaining advance copies of The Passion of the Purple Plumeria.
Bidding opens today and closes on the evening of May 31st. All proceeds from this year’s auction go to The Diabetes Research Institute at the University of Miami.
Happy bidding!
Lauren,
Thank you for supporting diabetes research! I have been a type one diabetic since the age of five and this is near and dear to my heart. Love your books!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
Robyn
Awesome. My bid is in. 🙂
Diabetes research is a cause that is close to me since my dad passed away from complications arising from it in 2011–I’m happy to help other people with the illness and their families!
Thank you for supporting diabetes research. I wish I had money to spare. I currently net $30/month not counting gas and groceries, so I must refrain. But thank you for raising awareness for diabetes research. I have had many low-income diabetes coworkers and know that support is always welcome. And especially awareness. I wish more celebrities used their power for good!
The one who really deserves the credit– for pulling the diabetes research auction together and keeping it going year after year– is Brenda Novak. She’s amazing.
I just lost a childhood friend to diabetes last year (she’d had it since we were in kindergarten), so it’s a cause that means a lot to me.
