PURPLE PLUMERIA Give Away!
On Tuesday, two packages showed up on my doorstep: my author copies of The Ashford Affair and a box of advance copies of The Passion of the Purple Plumeria.
Of course, I couldn’t let a box of ARCs just sit there….
I was wracking my brains for a good contest question for a Purple Plumeria ARC give away when I realized that the solution was sitting right in front of me on the table– it’s Ashford launch week next week, so why not combine the Ashford launch and the Purple Plumeria give away?
The Ashford Affair comes out next Tuesday, and I’d love to send it out into the world with a bang. So, for a chance to win one of the advance copies of The Passion of the Purple Plumeria, here’s your mission:
Between now and April 9, Ashford Affair release day, post about The Ashford Affair in some forum or other– it can be Twitter, Facebook, your website or blog, a message board, Amazon, Goodreads, or, really, anywhere else on the internet– and then come back here, and, in the Comments section, let me know where you’ve posted.
If you feel like including the link to your post in the Comments section, that’s great, but by no means necessary. (This is an honor system.)
Once all the posts are up, I’ll pick three names out of the hat (aka random number generator) and announce the winners on Wednesday, April 10.
If anyone has any questions, just let me know!
p.s. if it helps in the posting, here’s the link to the Ashford page here on the website: https://laurenwillig.com/books/ashford.php
I’ve posted on Facebook.
Since you must NOT be lifting such heavy boxes in your condition, I am happy to do my part to take one of those books to lighten the load! 🙂
Spotlight on The Ashford Affair on my book blog, Books, Belles and Beaux:
I did actually lift it the other day– and had one of those, “Ooops, not really meant to be doing this…” moments!

You have been tagged on my FB and I included your link 🙂
I posted this comment today: Lauren Willig’s (an author who writes in a style similar to Jane Austen) new book, The Ashford Affair. Lauren uses a similar style as her Pink Carnation series, of following the lives of two women in two centuries, as a Manhattan lawyer seeks to uncover her family’s secrets. The story follows the lives of two women over 70 years apart. The family story travels smoothly between centuries.
Recommended for those who like her style.
I just posted on Facebook and also plugged the Passion of the Pink Plumeria and the Pink series.
Ashford is one of the books I want to read on Goodreads and I pinned it on Pinterest. Yay! Can’t wait!
Just posted on facebook! And I got an email from the library today that The Ashford Affair is ready for me to check out! Woohoo!
I tweeted about it!
Speaking of which… is that @laurenwillig I found on Twitter really you? You should tweet more! Or let me do it for you! I bet you could set it up so that links to your blog posts were automatically tweeted at the very least.
Maybe I’m getting a little too excited about Twitter here. Haha.
It is! But I have to confess to being terrified of Twitter, so I’ve never actually used it. I may have to ask you for a tutorial one of these day….. : )
I posted about it on facebook! It is also on my to be read list on goodreads 🙂
Hi! I posted on Facebook.
My review of “The Ashford Affair” is up on GoodReads (http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/514229575) and now on Amazon as well!

I posted on my Facebook page!
When my co-worker pulled the Ashford Affair out of the box of 4/9 releases today, I gave it a hug and promptly snapped a photo + proclaimed my delight on Facebook. Sadly, I then had to surrender it to it’s 5-day stint on the not-yet-released shelf. (Woe to professional ethics.)
That is true virtue, Stephanie!
I wrote a First Look for it that was posted at Heroes and Heartbreakers on April 3, and I posted about it on FB.
Janga, I have to tell you how impressed I was with your piece for Heroes and Heartbreakers– you got right to the heart of what the book is about. (One line in particular, about the women being shaped by their historical moment and so on, really, really caught what I was trying to do.) Thank you!!
Posted on Facebook. I love the Pink Series and look forward to reading Ashford as well!
Posted on Facebook! Already have Ashford Affair pre-ordered from my local bookstore, can’t wait to read it!
I’ve left a review on my Goodreads list
Posted on facebook. So excited to read Ashford Affair!
Posted on my Goodreads!
I really don’t feel like I have a right to qualify for this because I have only about 200 Facebook friends and no public blog and no one in particular reads my goodreads reviews. But I did post about your book on my Facebook and I tell everyone I know about your books, but I’m just an ordinary person, not even an exceptional book blogger; if you even consider/think about giving me an ARC copy, I will be exceptionally flattered. Mostly I’m just a fangirl. I think you write really awesome books.
You do yourself too little credit! And thank you so much for your kind words about the books…. I’m so happy you’ve enjoyed them!
Tweeted! And it was on my Top Ten Tuesday List for Spring Reads a couple of weeks ago too 🙂 Can’t wait!!
(#1 actually on my blog’s TTT list 🙂 )
Thanks, Stephanie! I’m very flattered that “Ashford” is your #1!
