Pink Goes on Vacation

Sadly, not my vacation (I’m still here with Miss Gwen), but I was thrilled to read this article in Kirkus by the wonderful Sarah of Smart Bitches Trashy Books about vacation reading generally and the Pink books specifically.

If my books go to the beach, does that mean I get a tan?

What’s your vacation reading this year?

I have loaded my kindle with vintage Marion Chesney regencies, but the first thing I am going to read is a novella about my favorite dog detective, Chet the Jet, and how he meets his partner Bernie, called ” A Cat Was Involved”

Our family vacation (Lynyrd Skynyrd Cruise) isn’t until October so I haven’t decided what to take. I’ve read all the Pink books. I’m thinking about the first Ethan Gage or Churchill’s Secretary or another recommendation from this group. I did just pick up “The Emperor’s Last Island” by Julia Blackburn. I don’t know why I’ve got this Napoleonic facination? (wink, wink). Maybe I should read something about Hortense, you’ve made recommendations in the past. I know Kindles save space but I just can’t let go of the real thing~
