There was a fabulous review of The Orchid Affair in the latest edition of the Historical Novels Review, saying all sorts of nice things about Orchid. Unfortunately, I don’t have a link to link to, but I had to share my favorite line from the review:

“Will [Laura and Andre] fall in love? Was Bonaparte short?”
