More Prizes

Guess what just arrived in the mail today? Gorgeous, hot-off-the-presses copies of the British edition of The Deception of the Emerald Ring.

Emerald Ring makes its official UK debut on 6 September, 2010.

In the meantime, the books are too pretty not to share. I’ll be giving away three copies to people chosen at random from among those who have voted in the Orchid Affair Cover Contest. Winners of the British edition of Emerald Ring will be announced at the same time as the winners of the Cover Contest.

Some concerns have been expressed to me about the voting in the Cover Contest. This site operates on an honor system (or an honour system), so please play fair!

I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to win something more than I want to win this.

its frustrating 16, 37, 40 has gotten 10 votes from stacking. i am not even going to bother counting but it is very unfair to those who actually play fair

fantastic cover. see the orchid cover fits the new paperbacks much better

What do I have to do to win the dress on the cover?

I feel like I re-visiting family every time I open one of your books, Lauren. I can’t wait to add the next one to my collection. PLEASE keep writing!

apparently i am being accused of cheating, since i made a blog post inviting my readers/friends to vote.

  8. Lauren on August 5, 2010 at 4:47 pm

Hi, guys! So that no one is accused of cheating, here are the Official Ground Rules:

Okay: inviting your friends to view the covers and vote, as long as you make it clear that they should exercise their own judgment in choosing and not blindly vote a straight ticket. (Into which this current instance falls.)

Not okay: logging in under multiple names to vote for yourself. (Thank goodness, we have no signs of anyone doing that!)

If there are any real improprieties (i.e. the same IP address showing up multiple times/obvious vote stacking), I’ll take that into account when I tally up the votes.

In the meantime, if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to email me.

I’d actually like one of those dresses like someone else mentioned. Boy these are exquisite….
