Many fictional characters are making indignant noises just about now, seething about the indignities to which they’ve been subjected in the last mini-contest. There were some genius pairings– I, for one, would love to see Lord Vaughn attempt to deal with Amelia Peabody or the Dowager Duchess of Dovedale unleashed on Lady Catherine de Bourgh. And Miss Gwen and Casanova? Oh dear.
