BAND OF SISTERS: $1.99 today!

What a fun surprise to learn that Band of Sisters, my lightly fictionalized story about the women of the Smith College Relief Unit, is on sale across e-book platforms today for $1.99!

It was just about four years ago that I stumbled on the story of a group of amazing Smith College alumnae who went overseas during World War I to bring humanitarian aid to French villagers right behind the front lines.  Their letters home from the front were so winning– so funny and wry and heartbreaking– that there were times when I despaired of bringing half of what they accomplished to the page.  I only hope I’ve done them justice– and that you love them as much as I did!

And to buy your sale copy while the sale lasts (I wish I could tell you how long it will last, but the author is always the last to know!), here are the Kindle and Nook links.

Also… stay tuned for news about a Smithiad Read Along coming this fall!  (And by Smithiad, I mean my two books based on the exploits of real life Smith College alums: Two Wars and a Wedding and Band of Sisters.)  Much like the Pink Read Along, there will be super special guest co-hosts and we’ll be zooming to discuss one book each month.  More information and sign ups coming soon!
